Ivy Cube

The Ivy Cube is a lovely puzzle. It looks and solves a little like a Skewb despite having originally been built on a Pyraminx mechanism. The puzzle is square in shape with 'petals' as centre pieces on each face. Just like a Skewb, it takes a little getting used to the way the puzzle turns because so much of the puzzle moves with each turn. The mass-produced version that you see in the image is a nice puzzle to play with.

Solving the puzzle is pretty easy. You solve one face, then do the opposite face, then see what you can do about the centres. This can be done without knowing any algorithms and just a touch of intuition.
